These are some projects from the past few years that I'm proud to have been involved with.

Pop Your Bubble: The KIND Foundation

The KIND Foundation and Edelman worked together to build a social experiment: a tool that would allow people to pop the social media bubble most of us live in. Our research (and, really, common sense) told us that most Facebook users were never exposed to viewpoints different from their own so we sought to help people get a different perspective through technology by adding people with whom they might not agree to their feeds. This program won two Shorty awards and was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion.

Citigroup.com Site Redesign

Citi approached us to help redesign their corporate site to emphasize the stories Citi wants to tell while still getting visitors where they need to go. It's a big, broad site, with a lot of different entry and exit points, tons of documents to maintain, and some interesting stories to tell. I get excited about information architecture challenges, and let me tell you, figuring out where to put a major bank's reams of financial and regulatory documentation without it feeling like a digital version of the last shot of Raiders of the Lost Ark definitely presented one. We did it, though.

Emerson Collective Site Design

Laurene Powell Jobs started the Emerson Collective to shed additional light on the major social issues of our times and to affect positive change. The original intention was to sort of be Batman, to work from the shadows and drive things forward without a ton of fanfare or notice. The 2016 election changed things for them a bit and they realized that in order to have maximum impact they needed to elevate their brand, which started with a new website. We worked closely with their team to build a solution that was flexible, scalable, and innovative.

United Airtime Minisite

I've never worked on another project like this. United had appointed a new CEO and he had a mess to clean up, so the agency put a plan together for him that included a site through which he could address customer feedback. The project went from idea to execution faster than any other I've done and contributed in no small part to United's CEO being named PR Week's Communicator of the Year.

Samsung Pay Button Design & Usage Guidelines

Samsung Pay is similar to its competitors in that it's a mobile device-based payment system. It's different in that, whether your local deli knows it or not, they accept it already. We were charged with making it clear that they, and you, know that. We redesigned the button associated with payment, updated brand guidelines for its deployment, and developed a physical information kit to make sure the guy who makes your coffee knows that you know that yes, your phone can do that here.

CBS Fantasy Sports Products

'Legacy' doesn't have to be a dirty word in digital. This product has been in market for over twenty years and it's still the best fantasy sports experience available. I helped to make sure that it evolved aesthetically and functionally while it remained appealing to its core audience.

There are, of course, a lot of other things I've worked on over the past three years that I'm proud of, and many more before then, even, but your time is valuable. Let's take a look at how I helped the above come to be.
